Now, regarding the NYC and OK shows, I have footage and the like, but it's too late right now to get all that up here. (me want some zzz's). However, if you're itchin' for some coverage on last week's show at The Living Room (here's lookin' at ya, Speranza), there are some blogs that went up about it. How cool!
First is from James Leung: http://raiwebs.blogspot.com/2010/08/alfa-garcia-experience.html
Another from Gordon Nash, a very BIG folk fan in the area who has been so supportive of my music since I met him months ago: http://horvendile.diaryland.com/johnantalfa.html
Thanks guys!

Anyway, Oklahoma was amazing. Neither my camera nor my Flipcam were sufficiently charged (I know, sacrilege!) so I couldn't take as much footage from the weekend as I wanted. But I'll paste some that have been posted on FB already. I had an absolute BLAST in Tulsa, and there are so many great people there! Shoutouts to all the Okies and Midwesterners I had the pleasure to meet! It was a joy performing for you.

Me and the amazing Jason Yang, violin extraordinaire and jam buddy.

Here's me on the big-arse stage. Sound guy, Kerry, was awesome! Crystal clear. Hallelujah.

Me and Noel, who won Kollab Tulsa! He's so crazy good at yo-yoing. I knew he'd win it when he told me he was competing.

Me performing at the Pre-Party on Friday night at the bar. Yes, someone is videotaping on their Blackberry. Isn't it funny how we watch performances these days? We put an object between us and what we're watching...

The pre-show jam session!

Noel showing me how to yo-yo. I kinda stink at it. :-/

Of course, we can't forget the founder of Kollaboration, PK (center) and the man behind Kollaboration LA, Roy Choi (left).
